From Grownup Halloween Events to Festive Food Treats in Lincoln
Despite the cooler days and longer nights, the latter months of the year can be a magical time to visit Lincoln. Halloween, Bonfire Night and the festive season are always colourful, with lots going on locally. Meanwhile, we always like to provide some added cheer with our own food events and seasonal specials, whether you have a penchant for fine wines or festive classics. Here are just some of the reasons it promises to be a great end to the year:
Lincolnshire Halloween Events for Grownups
For those who enjoy ghost stories and good old fashioned chills, there are some hauntingly good events in Lincoln this Halloween. Nor are all of them purely aimed at children and families. For the grownups, a specialVictorian Night of Fear (Tuesday 31st October) presents a rogues’ gallery of crooks and creeps to meet in person; terrific fun, if not for the faint-hearted! Or for a tour of the city with a plethora of ghostly tales through the ages there is a special Halloween Bus Tour (October 29th).
Bonfire Night Meets Big Screen Soundtrack...
If you prefer less grisly thrills on your next visit, one of Lincoln's various Bonfire Night events might appeal more than ghouls and ghosts. There are several firework displays in and around the city, but among the very best is at Lincolnshire Showground (Friday 3rd Nov). The 2017 gathering certainly adds a twist to proceedings, with this year's bangs and flashes perfectly synchronised with a big-screen movie soundtrack! Add further live entertainment from top local musical talent and you have a great evening out.Click here for further information.

Better still, why not treat yourself to a special seasonal treat with a fresh twist or two with one of our festive-themed afternoon teas?
