We were fortunate enough to attend a party at Washingborough Hall recently, and yet again we were blown away by the beautiful setting and impeccable service. It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed delicious canapés outside before a wonderful meal in the dining room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who always had smiles on their faces.
Washy Hall and the fabulous staff provided myself and my partner with the perfect wedding day. They were so thorough and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most magical day. Lucy is so talented at what she does and Jonathan set up the dining hall beautifully.
Stunning small country house hotel, warm and cosy atmosphere, relaxed and friendly staff.
Stayed just one night this time for a big birthday, we were upgraded to a lovely suite which had views over the beautiful garden a huge bedroom and gorgeous bathroom with large victorian freestanding bath, felt rather luxurious . Bed was huge and extremely comfortable we had a great nights sleep.
We had a really delicious breakfast in the morning, the poached egg was cooked to perfection and had the best sausages. They had a really good selection of foods so everyone can find their favourite.
We had bed breakfast & evening meal at this Beautiful hotel, all the food was cooked to perfection, one of the best evening meals I’ve had, all the staff were attentive nothing was too much trouble, from the moment we walked through the door.
Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - the best meal of our short break (mains were very tender venison and vegetables cooked to perfection). Breakfast was freshly cooked with high quality ingredients - loved the sausage.
Lucy and her team were outstanding, ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Nothing was an issue, and were all on hand to help with any request, big or small. Special mention to Jordan, whose service was exceptional and ran the day.
The food was incredible—restaurant-standard—and received rave reviews from our guests. In fact, many guests said it was the best wedding breakfast they had ever had!
Aside the fabulous staff, the great room and night's sleep, and the wonderful ambiance throughout the hotel, I'd like to lord praise here on the restaurant staff both kitchen and front-of-house. The menu is dizzy with choice, but I settled on the Stilton soufflé, and for main the venison wellington. Both were utterly dazzling.....my compliments to the chef, and the waiting staff who looked after me so well.
The staff were all really polite, friendly and helpful - nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
We live in Lincolnshire and didn’t even know this place existed. We were gifted a voucher for our stay here by our children and they couldn’t have chosen better!
Now we just need to find an excuse to visit again!
This hotel is in a beautiful setting, with ample parking and very comfortable rooms. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is a very charming place.
All of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful, they really cared and looked as they enjoyed there work. Our room was spotlessly clean with its own outside entrance, large and very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked and severed to perfection. It was lovely to see venison wellington on the menu which was exceptional.
As usual very friendly.. cosy .. fabulous food …
We had 4 friends join us for a meal and a table was set up for us in the room next to the bar .. it was perfect especially as 2 friends are not enjoying good health presently… we thank you for that…
We recently had our wedding reception at Washingborough Hall and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all wonderful, they couldn’t have been more helpful! Lucy was so welcoming and kind to us, whilst also being professional.
We had our wedding at Washingborough Hall in December 2023, and were completely blown away! Washingborough hall is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are lovingly designed, very clean and nice and warm! The food was delicious, and has been every time we’ve visited. The staff are exceptional; every team member was friendly and efficient with nothing being too much trouble. Lucy made the planning process simple and stress free. We honestly can’t believe we had such a stress free wedding planning experience! The day ran so smoothly, with everything exactly as we imagined. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone planning an event.
We had our wedding day at Washingborough Hall this weekend. Jonathan and the team could not have done anymore for us. It was a truly magical day, the venue looked beautiful, the food was to die for and most of the guests commented on that, and the day flowed just beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble. If I could do it all again, I would. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We couldn't have wished for a more perfect day for our son Jason and his now wife Jessica , everything from start to finish was amazing, food impeccable, bedrooms comfortable, staff were so attentive nothing was to much trouble, if you are thinking of getting married here do not hesitate! They married In the church which is so pretty and the walk through to and from the hall is magical we were lucky the sun just came out as we walked back into the grounds and unbelievable we had a red arrows fly over!
Lovely place to stay for a family reunion. Very comfortable, very good food and great staff. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the stay. Lovely grounds, a quiet location with a nice walk down by the river. Close to Lincoln and all its tourist attractions.
My husband & I recently stayed for one night at Washingborough Hall for dinner, bed & breakfast.
We stayed in the Ingleby Suite - which is absolutely gorgeous room with lovely views across the front lawns of this hotel. The en suite bathroom is large and has a great roll top bath & walk in shower. Our evening meal was really tasty and used some local produce. Breakfast, again, was really plentiful and served in the cosy bar area as there weren't many guests staying. The staff are courteous and friendly, making our short stay a truly delightful one.
The Washingborough Hall Hotel Team and Lucy made sure that all our guests, family, and friends were well looked after. The team took care of every detail on the wedding, table plans, wedding favours and souvenirs we got for our guests.
Lucy helped me from start to finish of the wedding, she gave me recommendations on the flowers and wedding cake. She greeted my parents the night before the wedding and took care of my bouquet when I left it in my room after the photoshoots with the guests.
If anyone is looking for a classy and elegant themed wedding and wants to make sure that the guests and family have a good time throughout, Washingborough Hall is the place.
We booked to stay here for my mums 80th birthday and it was amazing. Fantastic staff and excellent food. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Lovely, relaxing place to stay and ideally situated for further sightseeing adventures.
My husband and I are lucky to have time away in beautiful places and I can honestly say Washingborough Hall is the best hotel we have ever stayed in! The staff are a pure delight, nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with such friendliness and style. The food is superb, we ate both evenings in the restaurant and enjoyed great service and a relaxing ambience. Our room was perfect, very clean and well appointed ,with a view over the garden. We enjoyed quiet undisturbed sleep, which I have to say can be a rarity in our experience. I think the owners must be special people to have created somewhere that is so relaxing and you get a real sense that the staff are happy and enjoy working at `Washy Hall`!
