Enjoy open water swimming year-round at this impressive facility. They also offer open water taster courses, yoga and swim sessions, and swim with your dog sessions!

If you prefer a paddle to a swim, then Ocean Walker Academy has got you covered too. They run 50 minute kayak or stand up paddleboard sessions on the lake, with an additional 20 minutes for you to explore the grounds or grab a refreshment from the cafe. Hire a kayak or paddleboard, or bring your own, and simply enjoy your time on the water.

Washingborough Hall is slap-bang on Route 1 of The Sustrans National Cycle Network. If you’re pedalling from Dover to the Shetland Islands, we can ensure that you’re well fed and well looked after. Looking for something a little more manageable? The well-known Water Rail Way route passes through Washingborough, too. Affordable bike hire is available throughout Lincoln on a scheme similar to the 'Boris Bikes' in London.
