Valentine’s Day Dinners

Ah, Valentine’s Day… The day of love. We know that you can’t put a date on romance, but it’s still rather nice to have an extra excuse, isn’t it? To celebrate the occasion, we’re hosting two fabulous Valentine’s Day dinners at Washingborough Hall in our elegant dining room. Secure your reservation, don your date night finery, and arrive in time to savour delicious canapes and a glass of something special in the lead up to your three-course dining experience. Dinner is followed by tea or coffee and homemade truffles. Delicious.

Mother’s Day Meal

Undoubtedly one of the most important dates in the calendar is Mother’s Day. A wonderful opportunity to say thank you to all the amazing mums, stepmums, mothers-in-law, grandmothers, mums-to-be, and mother figures all-round, this annual celebration is one to be embraced. Book your table at Washingborough Hall and come along for the elegant dining experience your mum deserves, complete with a two or three-course lunch in our beautiful 2 AA Rosette dining room.

Lincoln Grand Prix

10th May 2025

For one of the best things to do in Lincolnshire in 2025, set your sights on Lincoln’s famous Cycling Grand Prix. Kicking off proceedings this year is the Lincoln GP Sportive on Saturday 10th May, followed by the Rapha Lincoln Grand Prix the next day. Whether you’re a spectator or competitor, head over for this historic event and enjoy the cycling fever as hundreds of road cyclists take on the streets of the city and the infamous Michaelgate climb – cheered on by thousands of supporters!

Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival

7th May - 1st June 2025

Can’t wait to get out and enjoy the Great Outdoors? One of Lincolnshire’s best things to do, the Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival calls to walkers and wanderers of all ages to immerse in the beauty of the National Landscape around. Dip in and out of the two-week-long festival and take part in a huge range of events and activities across a multitude of locations – from guided walks to skills workshops and even gliding.

13th - 28th June 2025

Lincoln Castle is set to host another fantastic line-up of musical events this summer in the heart of the city's historic Cathedral Quarter. Promising one of the best things to do in Lincolnshire in 2025 for music lovers, each event sees a world-class artist or band take to the stage and perform. Taking place across a fortnight this year, 2025’s programme stars The Stranglers, James, Texas, Rag’n’Bone Man, Ali Campbell, Sting, Olly Murs, The Human League, and Simple Minds.

Lincoln Pride Festival

16th August 2025

For over a decade, Lincoln Pride has provided a fun, vibrant, and safe space for people to gather and celebrate equality and diversity. Taking place in Tentercroft Street car park, this year’s event is set to be bigger and brighter than ever. Anticipate a day-long line-up of live performances and entertainment, business stalls, food and drink, and the main event: the explosion of colour that is the Lincoln Pride Parade.

Celebrating all things books, Lincoln Book Festival is one of the most anticipated things to do in Lincolnshire in 2025 for lovers of literature. Created to connect audiences of all ages with books, the festival shines a spotlight on up-and-coming and internationally acclaimed authors of both fiction and non-fiction.
